Terms and Conditions
Please read these terms of sale carefully before placing your order and retain a copy of these terms and your order for future reference.

  • The “Company” means Grand Hill Wines, a subdivision of Grand Hill Creation Ltd in Hong Kong, and any person authorized by Grand Hill Wines.
  • The “Customer” means the person or firm who places an order.
  • The “Goods”’ means any goods described in the order.
  • An “Order” means a request by the Customer for Goods subject to these Terms and Conditions.

Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
Prior to placement of an Order, the Customer should have read these terms and conditions thoroughly and agrees to be bound by them.

The Company reserves the right to change its prices at any time without prior notice.

Goods are sold on a first-come-first-served basis, subject to their availability while stocks last. Very occasionally, the Company may run out of a particular product without notice. The Company accepts no responsibility for its inability to supply Goods to the Customer where the product is unavailable. In any event that an Order is unfulfilled or partially unfulfilled, the Customer will be notified by phone or email before the requested delivery date. All sales are subject to final confirmation of the Company. An invoice will be issued to the Customer as confirmation of an Order and an agreement of sales. All Goods sold are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.

Condition and Presentation of Goods
Ullages of all wines offered are top shoulder or better, unless otherwise stated. Although we strive to find wines in their best condition, the Customer must make appropriate allowances for natural variations of ullages, conditions of cases, labels and corks for old wines. We do not accept return wines for any reason, including corked wines. The Company accepts no responsibility at any time for any revision or change in the style of labels and packaging which do not materially affect their quality.

While the Company takes every precaution in the preparation of its catalogues, price lists and other literature these documents are for the reference of the Customer only. Statements contained in the said documents shall not constitute representations by the Company and the Company shall not be bound by them. Any typographical, clerical or other error or omission in any sales literature, price list, invoice or other document or information issued by the Company shall be subject to correction without any liability on the part of the Company.

Payment is due immediately upon receipt of invoice. Please allow at least three working days for the payment to clear. Goods can be released only after full payment has been received. The Company accepts the following payment methods:
  • Company crossed cheques in Hong Kong Dollar payable to “Grand Hill Creation Limited”
  • Bank transfers to the Company’s HSBC account numbered 808-626899-838 (copy of transaction will be requested for confirmation)
In the event of payment delay, the Company reserves the right to cancel the Order and notify the Customer accordingly.

Free delivery service to one location within Hong Kong Island and Kowloon area will be provided for any single purchase of HK$2,000 or above. Please check with the Company the prevailing delivery charges for any Order below HK$2,000, any Order with multiple delivery spots and any Order for delivery outside of Hong Kong Island and Kowloon area. Under normal circumstances, Orders can be delivered within two working days. A delivery note shall be signed by the Customer, chopped with a company stamp and returned as an acknowledgement of receipt of Goods.

The Company will not be liable if it fails to deliver Goods in part or in full due to circumstances beyond its control. The Company reserves the right to levy a storage charge of HK$0.5 per bottle per day for wines that have been made available for any Order confirmed by the Company but not collected or delivered within 30 days of invoice date. Such storage charge is subject to change without prior notice. The Company shall have the sole discretion to dispose by sale or otherwise the Customer’s Goods which have not been collected or where no instructions for delivery have been received after 180 days from invoice date.

Title and Risk
The Company shall retain title to all Goods sold by it until the full payment due from the Customer has been received. Risk in all goods shall pass to the Customer upon delivery.

Upon delivery the Customer is advised to immediately examine the Goods for the right mix, any damage and deficiency. The Customer must report details of such to the Company at the time of delivery. The Company will not entertain any claim thereafter.

Force Majeure
The Company shall not be liable to the Customer for any loss or damage caused to or suffered by the Customer as a direct or indirect result of the supply of the Goods by the Company being prevented, restricted, hindered or delayed by reason of any circumstance outside the control of the Company.

Governing Law
The above Terms and Conditions and the contract shall be subject to and construed in accordance with the Law of the Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China in Hong Kong.

Grand Hill Wines has absolute discretion to revise any of the above Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
